Ukraine: Obolon increased beer production by 24.2% since beginning of 2006
Obolon breweries produced nearly 900,000 hl of beer in May 2006, which conducted to a year-on-year increase of 23.8%, the company announced June 14 in its official statement.
According to the company release, since the beginning of 2006, Obolon brewed 3.36 million hl of beer, which represents a 24.2% year-on-year increase.
We shall note that Obolon share of beer production reached 31.5%. The companys domestic market share of beer sales has increased too, reaching 25.5%. Exports of Obolon beer in May increases 20.0% to the same period of 2005.
Ukrainian breweries increased production by 16.7% during the firs five months of this year.
